Hello,

some times customers kill BB5 phones by downgrading them. For some phones, it is necessary to have an FBUS cable to revive them, and for some types u only need the DK2 usb cable which is provided with your JAF or in your nokia phone sales pack. Some times when a new phone come out the fbus cable is not available or the reseller does not have it on stock for delivery. Using JAF you do not depend any more from this FBUS cable.

The new feature requires an different handling, please read the description below and if you have any questions, please use this thread to post.


Quick instructions for usb dead phone bb5 uniprocesors

- Connect jaf box and start the software
- Select BB5 tab, select usb mode
- Select Manual Flash and USE INI
- Select your model and ini
- Press flash
- When software say Searching for phone...Init usb communication... press power on the phone. Software should start flash procedure.

6131 tested by user EAET CLINIC
