Вышел новый релиз 2.09
Для нормальной работы телефона необходимо активировать PIN код.

Вышел новый релиз 2.12 и 2,13

2.12 & 2.13 - fixed write settings and improved communications.

Firmware 0212_PIN - GSM card has to have PIN code enabled.

IMPORTANT!!!
After phone requested user to enter PIN code, it's important to wait ~20 seconds before passing PIN code to phone, that is before pressing OK key on the phone's keypad wait up to 20 seconds.

Firmware 0213 - is usual firmware update, no special requirements about PIN.

TORNADOSim goes Iphone3G -- Special Firmware UPDATE: TornadoSIM_0215_iPhone3G.trn
New TORNADOSim Firmware UPDATE avaiable - SPECIAL FOR IPhone 3G

The name of the Firmware is: TornadoSIM_0215_iPhone3G.trn

Don't mix it up with the TornadoSIM_0215.trn update released also today - that is for the REGULAR PHONES.

According to first tests, the iphones was working in 3G and EDGE.
Most probably it will work well in many countrys, but there can be also exceptions.
Different from the competitor sims, with TORNADOSim and Iphone3G - the PIN CODE of your sim can be active or inactive - it doesn't matter.

The preset used for IPHONE 3G was the same like for Nokia 5300.

Warning: You may need to use some tool to make the TORNADOSim IC Chip thinner -- else it can remain stuck inside the phone.
Also tested:
Using this Iphone dedicated firmware on Blackberry 8100 phone, using same Nokia 5300 preset and MCCMNC from the network where the phone is locked to (will not work with 00101), the phones was working great !!!

P.S.
If you use the IPHONE3G in FLIGHT MODE --> Afterwards you will have to restart the phone to work well with the GSM Network.

TORNADOSim - Second update in same day: TornadoSIM_0215.trn
ONE MORE New TORNADOSim Firmware UPDATE

The name of the Firmware is: TornadoSIM_0215.trn

This update is verry interesting especially for the LG Phones where some customers where loosing network after some time.
Please test and give feedback.

Most probably it will work well in many countrys, but there can be also exceptions.

The presets remain same like before.
For some phones, especially BlackBerry it is recommanded to use the MCCMNC of the network where the phone is locked to !!!

Третий релиз за последние сутки . :wink:
Что исправлено:
1. Баг, не позволяющий видеть Tornado SIM меню если "прокладка" установлена в iPhone3G. В других телефонах меню было видно.
2. В Tornado SIM меню исправлена версия прошивки на верную. В 2.15 показывалась промежуточная версия 2.14, официального релиза которой не было.

Здесь был вложен файл: TornadoSIM_0216_iPhone3G_ok.rar (7.6 Кб), но к сожалению был утерян. Если он у Вас есть, свяжитесь с администрацией для его восстановления. Спасибо.

2 NEW FIRMWARES FOR IPHONE3G AVAIABLE NOW:


219 - forces the full registration sequence on the network each time the iphone 3G is powered on or SIM card is inserted/re-plugged.
Thus somehow compensates the not-availability of the network selection menu in the phone.
Takes always much more time (~1-2 min) (comparing to other firmware versions) to find network,
but guaranties repairing of some problems which are present in competitor's cards.
Recommended only for mobile operators with poor signal coverage or in places where
national rouming (due to an operator's poor signal coverage) may take place.

220 - ultra fast network search (3-10 (sometimes up to 15) seconds to register on network)

Вышла новая прошивка, работающая с iPhone 3G fw 2.2 с версией модема 02.28.00. Скачать TornadoSIM_0221n_iPhone_22.trn (http://www.mcrf.ru/forum/showpost.php?p=141338&postcount=2) можно с Tornado-files.
Ниже приведен скрин программы с правильно выставленными "галками".
