Moto Rocker v2.15 Released ! ROM4 and ARGON Unlock !
01.11.2007 Moto Rocker v2.15
Whats new :
Added support for ROM4 Phones ( Motorola W510, L7-2, L9, V3R Edge)
Added Support for ARGON based models (Motorola V3xx, V3xx imode, K3, V6, V1100)
For most convenient unlock of these platforms special unlock wizard is implemented.
Unlock/Repair procedures are totally reworked:
No more need for separate WithoutTP button, all operaions are made automatically, without user intervention
(LTE, LTE2, POG). Now only Unlock and Repair buttons are available.
Old LTE unlock method changed (like V3, C650, E398, V220, V300, etc).
No more PDS failures, because now unlock is done via direct recalculation, so just
automatic prepare stage added.
Old 3G unlock method chaged (those with bootcores up to 6.3.1).
No more 0x1DE branches. Unlock is done via direct PDS recalculation,
so in all 3Gs the unlock scheme is changed to uniform - setting blank mode and fast unlock with automatic restoring of working state.
Old LTE repair thus is reworked too, so now no more errors with repair like in R365 firmware when rocker cannot establish SCC opened status.
Very helpful feature added. Now between prepare stages (like when software says reconnect your phone, power it on/or enter flash mode etc...)
not just modal message dialog displayed, but the message dialog in which detection of connected phone is added (like scanning bar in main window of rocker)
so users now can continue only when they see the Windows has really detected the motorola device (flash interface or blank or modedm, whatever).
Added READ/ERASE panic - for users to debug why phone cannot power on. Helpful when flashing protected firmwares which check OTP
to match with preset value (like V3i, itunes, etc)
Added A835 repair/unlock.
Read/Backup scheme reworked. Now it automatically loads custom boot when possible. If not - it loads signed ramloader.
and automatically enables which ares are accessible with current loader to read/write (like in signed ramloader - PDS is disabled)
On Misc page added 'Force blank mode' button (actually it does previous WithoutTP's functions)
added Erase Chip - erases all flash chip for uses to be able to revive some problematic phones
(ROM4 and argon's bootcores are protected in ramloader from erasure)
Added Reference&Help page - on which there is detailed unlock/repair instructions for dummies plus info about platform,
about bootcores used in selected model, testpoint picture, and info if current model needs TP and in which cases
Added 'restore points' mechanism for LTE/ROM4/ARGON models. Since they need to be patched to make them enter blank mode (LTE)
or prepared to ExTestpoint (ROM4/ARGON), they need to be restored back with not touched firmware areas to be able to power on.
In previous versions if something whent wrong with LTE, user had to reflash phone.
Now changes are stored in database file, and at any moment 'damaged' phone is connected back to rocker,
software detects there is data to be restored, and restores it.
Removed bug in 3Gs - when they were patched with IMEI, withoutTP will make these phones enter flash mode permanently, till they are reflashed.
Now even if phone has patched IMEI, it can be unlocked/repaired without any problems.
Improved intel flash chip handling for 3Gs so now flashing (and thus unlocking/repair) operations go faster
Master RESET/Master CLEAR buttons added

Whats new:

In order to unlock new F3 follow this manual:
1. Power off the phone and connect cable
2. Start "W208Unlock_111unlim.exe" , select F3 and com port
3. Press "Unlock"
4. Press Power Button on phone when software ask for it
5. You will see progress bar moving, wait for "Unlocked OK" message
Phone must be OFF, not in Flash mode.
If You have totally dead phone (S-Blank Locosto) do this :
1. Connect phone to cable
2. Press "Flash ID"
3. After phone is booted, press "Write MEM" and select "F3_Full_Crypted.bin"
4. After writting is finished, switch back to "Unlock" TAB and press "Repair".
5. If needed, unlock afterwards.
To use this new release, You need activation for Sagem Service Software.

Unlock instructions:
First, install Locosto USB drivers. Read howto here : http://www.unlockforum.com/showthread.php?t=4692
Here is USB Drivers installation procedure for Locosto USB based models :
Run "Motorola Driver Installer.exe" from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Motorola Shared\MotPCSDrivers\" dir
Select "Clean only" and press start, wait untill its finished then close the software,
Open Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Motorola Drivers
Open Rocker Dongle Support, and navigate to ".. / .. / RockerDongle / Drivers / W156i_W160_W175_W180_USB_Drivers / dir.
Download and install
"Motorola.9.0.msi" (http://www.rockerdongle.com/members/cardmain.php?dir=Drivers/W156i_W160_W175_W180_USB_Drivers/&file=Motorola.9.0.msi)
Restart PC
Connect above mentioned Motorola model with mini USB cable to pc, with battery removed
Insert battery, windows will detect "LOCOSTO" device and install drivers
Remove and insert battery again, and check in device manager for "Motorola Flash" device.
If You have done everything as described, You will have installed drivers correctly. Take note, these models will remain in flash mode for only 5 seconds, if no comunication started, phone will go to charging mode.
Select "W180" in drop down menu for both W175 or W180
Press "Unlock" and connect powered off phone
Wait for smile
Read/Write and repair instructions :
Select model and go to "Read/write" TAB
Press "Flash ID" and connect powered off phone
Press "Read Mem" to read full backup
Press "Write Mem" to write full backup
If You have dead or damaged phone, and want to repair it, simply write apropriate full backup (W175 or W180) and then press "Repair" button.
Please download "W175_W180_Unlock_ODM_115.exe" from Rocker Dongle support.

Hello,
Here is simple step by step manual for Motorola W205, Motorola W208, Motorola W209 IMEI change/repair:
Start ODM Rocker v1.20 BETA , select comport, speed and set model to W208
Click Connect, and after successfull connecting, tick "Full" in flash tab and open special file with desired languages
Press write
Switch back to main TAB and reconnect phone
Press "CTRL+ALT+I" and fill out desired IMEI
Press "Repair" and wait for software to finish the job
Phone will show "Phone Hacked 2" now
Close ODM Rocker and start ODM_Unlock_v117.exe
Connect phone and press "Repair"
Phone is alive and with new IMEI now
It is also possible to write new IMEI to W215 or W218, but You will lose camera function !
Special files You can find in support - "Index of .. / .. / RockerDongle / FlashFiles / ODM / SpecialFiles /"

Some of the firmware versions in this phone have different CG4 start address - so prior to actual flashing, Moto Rocker will first check CG4 location in connected phone. This function might have some bugs, so in case of "MEM_MAP_BLANK" problem, please reflash phone with monster and report here.
SCM-A1 models (V8, Z6, U9, E8), K1s, V9 - these phones have DBS* implemented, hence unlocking for now is not possible. Please use unlock codes servers for mentioned models.
Reading language pack from SCM-A11 models is a bit different now. Instead of usual CG04, You have to select CG46.

About alternative unlock method :
Some W510/W490/W5 phones will enumerate as "Unkown Device" when connected in TP mode using default method. Other solutions use two test points for such phones, which oftenly result with damaged flash chips.
Due to these facts, we developed special solution, which is 100% tested and aproved by us.
How to use it ?
If phone fails to enter special boot mode with default method and TP, please restore phone first - click "Unlock" and on popup dialog select " Restore my phone".
Now, reconnect phone and again click "unlock" and select "Alternative method". This will prepare phone and You will be asked to connect TP and press "Start" - but also You have to select which prepare stage is used - select "Alternative" from list box, and then press "Start".
Alternative TP photo is uploaded to support.

Read PDS button You can use if You want to have PDS backup from phone prior to unlocking. If You already tested some model before, it is not needed.
We also would like to ask all users who get W5 or W490 motorola to use this function and send us readed PDS files.
Connect button is now changed to "Backup". This is because some users were using wrong procedure to unlock phones. To unlock phone, You just need to press "UNLOCK" button, nothing else !

ODM Rocker 1.28 RC2 - SE Locosto flashing Test
This is release candidate 2.
Whats new:
- Added flashing for T250, T250i etc
- Added flashing for R300,
- Added flashing for T280
If You want to change language, just reflash FW part. Take note, DO NOT leave "Full" option checked.
Flash files for T250, T280, R300 are ready at support.
To flash phone, use following steps :
- Press "Connect" and wait for boot process to be finished
- Tick "FW" to sellect proper part for flashing
- Open FW file You want to flash
- Press write
DO NOT downgrade firmware, phone will be unoperable. Making FULL backup prior to flashing is recomended.
If phone gets locked after flashing, use ODM_Unlock_v1.20g to unlock it.
If You want to erase user code, flash "Clean_FFS" using "FFS" option.

In order to unlock these phones, You need to build UART cable according to schematics from bellow image. Wire colours from Mini USB cable are important, wire colours on RJ45 cables my be different, so on RJ45 side You need to use pins 2, 3 and 7.
To unlock phone follow these steps:
- Power off the phone and connect to cable
- Press "Connect" in software
- Shortly press "Power" button on phone
- Once phone is connected - press "Unlock"

About K200 and K220 boot bugs:
Sometimes these phones respond to boot commands in strange manner, so if You cant get it booted, click "Connect", attach phone to cable without battery, and then insert battery and press "power" button. It should work without probs.
About MotoFone F3:
These phones require formating of file system after flash update. By mistake, we removed test mode options for this model, and now they are restored.
So, if Your F3 dont have ring tones, please power it ON and press "TEST MODE" on "Special" TAB in ODM Rocker.
You can then reset user code, or format file system.

BlackBerry Unlock Software (MFI Loader and Files) Now on Rocker Dongle Support !
Hello,
Thanks to person whom i cant remember nick, i was able to download BlackBerry unlock solution yesterday morning before it got erased from forum and rapidshare.
You can find it in Rocker Dongle support now.
Here's how it works:
- Install MFI setup
- Unpack all parts and copy to "C:\MML" - Overwrite all files there
- Install Desktop Manager
Simply run MFI loader from desktop shortcut, tick "erase" and "Autostart" and connect Your BlackBerry.
Once process is finished, Your BlackBerry device will show "1" in display. At this point, You just have to reflash firmware.
I have also uploaded some of the firmware packs, hope You'll enjoy it.

Q: How can i check when my card is activated ?
A: Open Rocker Dongle support, and click "LG Activation" link. You'll see following :
"CardID: 2790C3A9B6BXXXXX; Activated on: 200x-xx-xx"
Fill out the form with correct Card ID and Your valid e-mail, and click "Submit".
Q: I have requested free activation and now my account is suspended
A: You have tried to cheat the system, and Your account is suspended
Q: How can i unsuspend my account ?
A: You must contact Your reseller and give valid explanation why You wanted to cheat the system.

Hi,
No mater if we put warning with large font about users who try to cheat the system, there are many "smart" people who try to do so.
So far we have suspended 47 accounts.
3 from those have requested free credits four (4) times. It seems that some people are too stupid to read, or really want to cheat us with this.
Since i have better things to do then to chase cheaters, i will suspend each account which tried to do so.
You can receive free activation only if You see that Your card is activated
AFTER 2008-12-27 and BEFORE 2009-01-15.

NOTE:
All new security phones are MSM6280 compatible. So in case You get "MSMxxxxxx" is not supported, uncheck auto mode and set chipset to MSM6280 !
Since we had some unexpected troubles in last two weeks, MSM6250A release will take some time. Hopefully from next week we will start adding all models starting with U310. Same applies to 2G models.

We need as many as possible locked backups from supported models.
To read full backup, tick "Full" check box, select "Read" in options and press "Do Job".
After reading, software will inform You about readed files and location where those files are saved.
You'll need to pack those files with winrar or winzip and upload directly to LG Rocker support -> Upload folder.
Users who upload more then 10 different backups will be granted with 3 months support area extension.

This interface has factory fault, resulting in very bad RX latency.
It will result with "Phone not answer" errors on booting process, or "Block Transfer Error" on reading.
To fix it, You'll need to perform modifications according to instructions from here (http://www.unlockforum.com/showthread.php?t=5409).

LG Rocker v1.09 released - Country Code Update !!!
Whats new:
Added writting Country Code for OTP models (U300, U310, U450, U880, U890, U900)
EFS reading improved (Will not work with all models !)
Uploading custom PXO modules is now enabled (Usefull for "hackers" )
In order to perfect our support for OTP models, we added Country Code update. Due to limitations hardcoded into some firmwares, these models needs flashing in some cases.
For example, You have an UK U300 phone. In order to get it working, You must flash IT firmware into phone using LGMDP software.
After flashing, phone will start with YELLOW SCREEN ! In order to repair this, simply click "Write Country Code" in LG Rocker v1.09 and select "UK" from drop down list.
After this, phone will start normaly, and You can press "Unlock" button to get it working with all SIM cards.
Please download and install "LGRocker_v1.09.exe" from support.

To unlock these phones we DO NOT have any offer, however You can use any other tool or box which have signature calculation server service. E.G. MT Box, SE Tool or Cruiser, or anything else.
We do work on solution, but for now we haven't made any progress. We will continue searching, drilling and digging, so PLEASE save some of our time and DO NOT ask each day "WHEN SIR".

How to activate SagDD account (E-Gold and Locosto)

In order to use UNLIMITED SagDD account and latest updates, one time activation is required.
There are two types of activations :
- E-Gold INFINEON based phones (Sagem, ZTE, HUAWEI, Vodafone) - 40 EUR
- Locosto and Calypso based phones - 100 EUR
Each Rocker Dongle user can activate any of above listed features and use full power of SagDD software.
First step is to obtain Your Rocker Dongle Card ID. Open Rocker Support and copy Your CARD ID from there.
Second step is to send payment. You can do it directly from Rocker Support. Make sure to correctly enter Your card id, or account may not work.
Third step is to start unlocking phones.
